Puma Punku

Puma Punku is located about 1,000 feet from Tiwanaku.  Puma Punku, as it is currently excavated, is basically one large T-shaped pyramid similar to the Akapana Pyramid at Tiwanaku. Puma Punku is an equally mysterious place.  Built of stones similar to Tiwanaku, it may have been built before Tiwanaku.  What makes this fact even more interesting is that the megalithic stones at Puma Punku are even larger than at Tiwanaku.  For more info on Puma Punku, please see this website:

I did not feel as strong of an attraction to Puma Punku as to Tiwanaku.  However, I did feel a strong attraction to the gates here as at Tiwanaku.
