The day after the group visited the Chichicastenango Market, we took boats across the Lake to experience a Mayan Fire Ceremony with Don Rigoberto and his son Kukulkan and nephew.  The Ceremony was very peaceful and graceful, with the time passing very quickly.  Later (like a different day), Don Rigoberto came to our hotel and explained to us about Mayan Astronomy and their Calendars.  I felt really happy meeting Don Rigoberto and his family and Anita, his interpreter for us gringos :-)
