The Church in Santiago on Lake Atitlan

The day after arriving at Lake Atitlan, we took a boat (2 actually) across the Lake to Santiago.  Santiago has a church with a Pre-Columbian blowhole where the Earth breathes, if I recall correctly.  My main memory of Santiago is feeling like my energy had all been sucked out the moment I got off of the boat.  I do not recall feeling anything in the church, not even at the blowhole.  On the way back I walked mainly with Barbara, who got a real workout from the child vendors :-)  Not my best day for experiencing the energies :-(

We then took the boats across the Lake to another place where we were supposed to experience a Mayan ceremony.  However, when we got there, the dock was washed out.  No way to land unless we felt like wading in the cold Lake waters (no way Jose!).  So we went back to the hotel.  For me, the day went very strangely.
