After visiting Temple I, we walked over to Temple II. I did not feel anything from Temple II, although I really enjoyed walking up to the top and chanting mantras.
According to the INAH Plaque accompanying this temple, the Mayans built Temple II in the Rio Bec architectural style, with checkerboard or gridded panels done in high and low relief and semi-sunken crosses. Temple II has several rooms facing the exterior and some interior rooms; these last rooms have wide benches, implying a living use. The 2nd level of the temple is reached by a small stairway, constructed between 2 of the rooms.
