The Saq Be

After walking through the “Cenote” Temple, we came to the Saq Be.  Almost every Mayan city had a Saq Be (Mayan for “white road”); it was like the main street through the city.  And like a lot of other Saq Bes, this one had an Arch over it.  This arch was small compared to other arches.  I liked the size of this arch.  Everything about this site/city felt quiet and comfortable, like a homey small town feel.  I took the first 2 photos while the sky was overcast.  I took the last photo about an hour later, when the sun had come out.
