After visiting the House of the Tortugas, we walked over to the Governor’s Palace. The Governor’s Palace is really cool and definitely a hike to reach. The designs along the roof are amazing and richly ornate; I really like them. I chanted some mantras inside, and the acoustics were great. I really feel that the Maya knew a lot about sound and acoustics. I loved this temple.
The Palace is very long and narrow.
