After visiting Labna, we stopped at Xlapak. Xlapak is a minor site on the Puuc Route. The site never really called to me; we just stopped one afternoon to visit on a lark. The Mexican Government has done quite a lot of excavation and restoration at the site in the past year or so. The main temple is almost completely restored, and the area behind the temple is cleared. Two other temples are partially restored and cleared, and INAH is continuing to restore them.
