Last December I visited various Mayan sites in the Yucatan with our friend and guide Enrique and William our driver and “diplomat”. In particular, we visited Ek Balam, Chichen Itza, Acanceh, Labna, Xlapak, Uxmal, Edzna, Santa Rosa Xtampak, Xcalumkin, Oxkintok, Sayil, Kabah, Dzibilchaltun, and Ake.
Sadly, this trip turned out to be the last trip with William; he passed away in December 2012.
