Temple II
Stela CXVI

According to the INAH Plaque accompanying the temple, Stela CXVI (Roman numeral “116”), portrays another notable woman, perhaps the spouse or mother of Yich’ak K’ak, of Calakmul.  Stela CXVI was erected in 692 A.D.

I do not recall how well preserved this stela was, but it definitely stands out as you walk up the steps of this temple.
