Oxkintok
Group Ah Canul

After visiting Group Ah May, Enrique and I walked on to Group Ah Canul, which had the most temples of the 3 groups of temples.  It also had some cool stelae in front of Palace Chich and Palace Diablo (lower right corner of the map below).  Some of these stelae  are in the Merida Museum.  Zechariah Sitchin mentioned 2 of these stelae (one of which was from the site Tzekelna) on pages 91-92 of his book THE LOST REALMS (1990) ISBN 093968084-X.


I chanted a lot of mantras in a couple of these temples.
